Phoenix, AZ. – (June 1, 2017) – Vantage Mobility International (VMI) is pleased to announce the recent hire of Steven Morris, VP of Supply Chain & Quality and Brian Mark, Director of Manufacturing Engineering. With these new roles VMI will bolster its supply chain management, product development, and design engineering strengths. Steve Crandell, Chief Operating Officer, shared, “The addition of Steven and Brian is an example of how VMI, is increasing our firepower to reach the next level.”

Morris comes to VMI with over 26 years in managing supply chain systems and strategy, demand planning, logistics/distribution, and procurement. His experience stems from companies like Pepsi, Rittal (Dell Computers) and Goodyear. He is APICS certified, has won the 2011 POLK award for supply chain excellence, is an AMR/Gartner best-in-class presenter for logistics costs improvement 2010, and instrumental in achieving the 2003 Dell small supplier of the year.
Morris has been challenged to improve product lead times. He plans to use a strategic approach to global supply chain, procurement, sourcing and integrated supply chain partnerships. This will help VMI to meet the demands for the highest quality products at competitive prices, and ultimately accelerate VMI as the world leader in the production of wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Mark comes from the Fleet Department at Toyota Motor Sales as the Mobility Conversion Engineer/Quality Auditor. It was his mentorship that helped VMI achieve Toyota’s Gold Quality Status Rating, a recognition of VMI’s consistent demonstration of commitment to product development and quality, operational quality, process control and continuous improvement.
Mark will be joining the product development team to help drive design engineering into the production process. This focus on integration will help VMI in their continuing effort toward improvement and innovation of mobility products.
