Phoenix based VMI (Vantage Mobility International) has announced its second generation of the Elite scooter and wheelchair lift. This newly redesigned lift is six inches shorter allowing for use in more vehicle applications. The Elite utilizes the existing third-row bench mounts offering a drill free installation in most vehicles. In vehicle models containing stow-n-go seating, VMI has designed a Third Row Seat (TRS) kit application, for a simplified installation. The unit operates with a wireless key-chain remote for ease of use and is designed to retract into the vehicle for convenient stowage. The universal platform design allows for entry on either side and has a lifting capacity of 300 pounds. Not only is this lift simple to operate it now boasts a 40 percent faster cycle time than its predecessor. This new model will be available in five different colors. The telescopic portion of the lift is customizable allowing you to coordinate the lift to your vehicles interior. Now you have the option of purchasing a product that is an industry innovation and one that is stylish. The Elite is available for purchase through VMI's dealer network.
